Our school celebrated World Environmental Day with a lot of fervour and enthusiasm on 09/06/2017. Various activities were conducted to bring about awareness among general public.
Students from our school, in tandem with the world, resonated slogans with messages to promote a healthy, green and sustainable environment. A theatrical rendition of the skit entitled “Connect to Nature” from class X students sensitized the citizens on environmental issues.
Hundreds of kids participated in the rally and carried placards and banners with messages to protect the environment. As a part of the event paper bags were distributed to passers-by and the commuters.
The motive behind the event was to raise awareness about the growing need of environmental conservation.
