Vagdevi Vilas School celebrated kannada rajyotsava with great enthusiasm, Students presented ‘vachanas’ that captured the spirit of the day. Students enthralled the audience by dancing to the tunes of popular Kannada Naada Geethe. Students also presented a speech highlighting the significance and beauty of Karnataka and its famous legends.
Shri. Manikanth A R a famous kannada writer graced the occasion as the chief guest. He spoke about the beauty and simplicity of Kannada language and encouraged students to learn Kannada. He also emphasised on the importance of learning Kannada and threw light on the achievements of Kannadigas in various spheres of life and the rich heritage of Karnataka.
